Everyone’s ‘juries,’ or final presentations, are coming up so NID is scattered with amazing works. It’s also why the blog has been so quiet; we’re busy studying over here! This is the work of some of the 3rd year textile students. They weave, braid, dye and knit all the samples themselves.

Chhail will be coming to RMIT Brunswick campus next year, sem 1, so if you see her, say hi! She did some great work inspired by water. I particularly loved her laser cut and heat set samples.

One of the awesome things about India is that you can get things like embroidery outsourced for a reasonable price and time frame.
